Will my forum be slow?
No! The thing is, when we started FireForumz we wanted to do things right, so we opted for a state-of-the-art data center located in the heart of Los Angeles, CA.
Can I rename my forum?
Yes! At FireForumz we know that you don't want to make a new forum if you ever decide to change the name. Just contact us on either the support forum or live chat and we will change your subdomain to whatever you desire!
I own my own domain name, can I use it on FireForumz?
Yes! One of the coolest features on FireForumz is that you can use your own domain name. All you need to do is contact us on the support forum with your forums subdomain and the domain you want added.
I want a mod/style added, how can I do this?
If you want a mod or style added to your hosted forum, just request it to be added on the support forum.
I have a backup of my forum, can I upload here?
If you have a backup of your phpBB3 forum, you can have it restored on FireForumz for free. Just contact us on the support forum
Can I remove the ads from my forum?
We only put ads on your hosted forum to help with server costs. But if you decide that you ever want them taken off, just go over to the upgrades page and choose how long you want them taken off. Also for being a very smart person and reading the full FAQ, we will give you a $5 rebate if you purchase a full year of ad-removal if you email us the code: FAQAD56 with your invoice. (Please Note: The ad-removal system will be changed to page views shortly)
Can I add my own ads my forum?
You can add any ad from any ad network on to your forum. However, this requires that you have already paid to remove our ads first. If done so, then please contact an admin on the support forum with your ad code and they will install it for free.
I have a phpBB2 forum, can I convert it for FireForumz?
Yes! With FireForumz you can now convert your phpBB2 forum to phpBB3. All you need to do is create a new forum, then contact an admin on the support forum with your details.
How can I get a backup of my forum
You can get a backup for your forum at anytime by buying a license. FireForumz offers one year licenses for backups for only $10 instead of paying that over and over again like you do with other hosts. With it, your forum will have the backup tool enabled. The license is only good for a year and after that year you must extend it. If you have previously had a license then its only $5 every year after.
